Mops
Určitě vám připadá tento název divný, ale je to malý milující pejsek.
POVAHA MOPSÍKA:
Je to přátelský pejsek je vstřícný k lidem všem.Je to velmi inteligentní pejsek, má šarm.
VÝŠKA:
Je vysoký tak 25 až 28cm v kohoutku.
PRŮMĚRNÁ DÉLKA ŽIVOTA:
Dožívá se kolem 13 až 15 let.
POPIS:
Mops je plemenem malých společenských psů. Mops je velice dobře stavěný, rozložitý a kvadratický pes. Od jiných malých psů se liší mohutnými zvýrazněnými svaly. Hlavu i lebku má velkou a kulatou, není však jablkovitého tvaru, s krátkým, tupým, kvadratickým čenichem a jasně vyznačenými vráskami. Mops má malý předkus. Oči jsou tmavé, velké, kulaté a lesklé, měkkého a starostlivého výrazu. Uši má malé a tenké, sametově měkké, buď ohnuté do strany (ve tvaru růžového lístku), nebo klopené (knoflíkové), jimž se dává přednost. Krk je silný, lehce klenutý, s lalokem, dostatečně dlouhý, aby umožňoval hrdé nesení hlavy. Končetiny jsou velmi silné, rovné a dobře svalnaté. Tělo je krátké a kompaktní, se širokou hrudí a rovnou zádí. Ocas je vysoko nasazený, maličký, co nejtěsněji zatočený přes hřbet.
PŮVOD:
Mops je známý již z dávnověku. Zvláštním a spletitým osudem se ze starověké indické společnosti dostal do Evropy, nejdříve ze všeho do Holandska. Jeho původ pochází pravděpodobně z Číny, jeho šíření však začalo až v Holandsku, kde se svým zbarvením ladil s barvami rodu Oranžských, tehdejších vládců Holandska. Mops byl velice oblíbený, a když se Vilhelm III. Oranžský stal anglickým králem, přivezl si několik Mopsů s sebou do Anglie. Okamžitě se na anglickém dvoře stali velice populární. V této době byl Mops poněkud menší, křížením však dosáhl současných rozměrů. Následně se počet Mopsů snížil a plemeno se stalo vzácným. Anglická královna Viktorie projevila přání tohoto pejska vlastnit, po těžkém hledání pro ni našli však pouze jeden kus. Před více jak 20 lety byl založen „Klub milovníků mopsů“, jehož specialisté zachránili výskyt a získali současné plemeno. Plemeno je přiznáno FCI, AKC, UKC, KCGB, CKC, ANKC.
PÉČE:
Mops vyžaduje intenzivní, pokud možno i fyzický kontakt s majitelem, jemuž je bezmezně oddán.
CHARAKTER:
Mops je nesmírně přátelský pes, vstřícný ke všem lidem, bez stínu nedůvěřivosti či dokonce agresivity. Je roztomile hravý, čilý a veselý. Mops je však zároveň ztělesněním důstojnosti, šarmu a inteligence. Je to povahou šťastný a vyrovnaný pejsek.
SRST:
Mops má srst jemnou, hladkou, měkkou a lesklou, která se nikdy nevlní. Přiznané zbarvení: stříbrné, plavý, meruňkový, černý. Mops může mít i tzv. „řemen“, pás, který probíhá od zátylku až ke kořenu ocasu.
